Multitalented Afrobeats singer/songwriter Oluwasetemi Success Falade popularly known as KHiiD, an indigene of Ekiti state, born and raised in Akure, has been on the rise since the release of his 2022 project titled “A KHiiD from Akure,”
setting a distinct path for himself as the next rated Afrobeats act to watch out for. “A KHiiD from Akure” project focused on his roots while paying homage to the storied city of Akure.
The twenty track album which was featured on Billboards in New York Time Square, played on mainstream US and UK radio stations, received unmeasurable amount of love and support from the indigenous people of Akure, brands and franchises alike, leading up to his debut tour on the One Africa Music Fest Stage in London, Birmingham, and Manchester.
Aspiring to collaborate with renowned artists like Tems, Oxlade, Rema, and many more, KHiiD draws inspiration from his life journey, his emotions, and his mother who paved the way for his musical career. Her talent and passion for music became his driving force.
His musical approach, a fine mix of AFRO-SOUL and AFROBEATS, fused with contemporary African style which he once described as “Afro-street” epitomizes the element of Air. His sound is characterized by its lightness and fluidity, creating an ethereal and uplifting atmosphere.
